Hampi was born in 1975. He started his flying career as first officer at Crossair when he was only 22-years old. He moved to Rega/Swiss Air-Ambulance as a Jet-pilot for the following 19 years. During part of this period Hampi covered the position of the Head of Training of the Rega Jet-Operartion.
Since 1998 Hampi is a motivated VFR and IFR instructor and examiner. He loves to work with students and see their “growing” in the area of aviation.
In 2020 he decided to explore new ways and made his passion of transferring knowledge to new pilots his main task. Hampi is the Head of Training of a well recognised flight academy in Switzerland and an FE (Flight Examiner) for the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation.
