PPL(A) – Private Pilot License

PPL(A) – Private Pilot License

Have you ever dreamed of flying away? Have you ever dreamed to takeoff to your favourite destinations and to turn every single trip in a real adventure?

The PPL (A) course allows you to fly your friends and family in the European airspace and beyond for recreational reasons and represents the first step to become a commercial or an airline pilot!

What do I need to start?

  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Class 2 Medical License provided by an AME (Aviation Medical Examiner)
  • A couple of hours per week

What Can I do with my PPL License

  • You can fly with SEP (Single Engine Piston) aeroplanes for recreational reasons (not commercial) by day
  • You will be able to fly by night and in deteriorated weather conditions with additional training.

How Long does it take?

It is really depending on your availabilities. Time for a PPL varies between 3 months and 1 year. Our average students need around 6 months to complete their basic training.

Structure of the course:

  • Theory (Distance computer based learning) or face to face tailored training
  • 45 hours (minimum) practical instruction

Why a Wings Level PPL (A) is different?

  • Even if not required by law, Wings Level is including in your PPL elements of Upset Prevention and Recovery Training! like fully developed stalls, adverse stalls, spins and more. This is to enhance your safety.
  • Our Instructors are flying every day with the most popular airlines in Europe on various aeroplanes (A320, B777, etc) and are trained to the best standards. The same standards will be applied to our students.
  • Wings Level is leader in CBT (Competency Based Training) which is recognised by the industry as the most effective training philosophy.
  • Your training is built around you. We will train when and where you want.

How much does it cost?

It depends on which aeroplane you are willing to use and what type of training you are willing to receive. Wings Level offers tailored training, which means we will fly to the airports you what to and based on your availabilities. For this reason it is impossible to give a “one fits all” price. Please write us to get in touch with us and we will be happy to assist you!
