Calling all pilots and aviation enthusiasts! Join us at the Birrfeld Airfield on September 16th and 17th, 2024, for the Wings Level Event, focused on Stall Awareness, Prevention, and Recovery.

This two-day event is designed to enhance your understanding and skills in managing stall situations, a critical aspect of aviation safety. Whether you’re a seasoned pilot or a student, this event offers valuable insights through expert-led sessions, practical demonstrations, and interactive ground training.

Why Attend? Stall-induced loss of control in flight (LOC-I) is a leading cause of aviation accidents worldwide. According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), LOC-I, often resulting from a stall, accounted for over 40% of fatal accidents in commercial aviation from 2010 to 2019. In general aviation, the statistics are even more alarming. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) reports that stall-related accidents are responsible for nearly 50% of all general aviation fatalities.

Event Highlights:

  • 3-Hour Theoretical Course: Dive deep into the mechanics of stall, its causes, and how to prevent and recover from it. This comprehensive course will cover everything you need to know about stall, from aerodynamics to real-world case studies.
  • 1-Hour Practical Training: Don’t miss this outstanding opportunity to experience stall recovery first-hand! This session allows you to personally try several types of stalls in a controlled environment and learn the critical techniques needed to recover from them. This practical training could make the difference in a real-life situation, helping you to save your life and the lives of others.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow aviation enthusiasts and professionals.

Course Fee: 750 CHF, – including:

  • 3 hours theoretical training
  • 1 hour block time practical training on the FA150K
  • Didactical material

Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your aviation safety knowledge and skills. Mark your calendar for September 16-17, 2024, and be a part of this essential event at Birrfeld Airfield!

      Liber Kazimierz,

      Andrea
